Hello! My name is Jeff Foster and I’ve been teaching at Haywood Community Learning Center since 2015. I grew up in Swannanoa and graduated from Charles D. Owen High School in 1987. I have been teaching and coaching wrestling for over 25 years. I went to Asheville Buncombe Technical Community College and graduated with an Associates of Science degree and Western Carolina University where I earned my B.S.Ed. in Mathematics. I’m very proud to be a professional educator! When I’m not being a math geek, I love to fly fish, hunt, hike and spend time with my wonderful family. I’m married to my beautiful wife Tina, and we have two wonderful boys Eli and Tony. I am also the father of two very ferocious dogs Banjo and Daisy!

My Mission Statement: I will be creating future leaders of our community and country within these four walls and they will be able to take their own decisions and outcomes and rise to the top.
